About Mary Ellen
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
-Nelson Mandela
Mary Ellen Lonergan, LMFT
I have been working as a therapist for approximately 10 years, and have worked with adult and child populations.
As I relayed on my services page, I am passionate about being a therapist, and find that helping people, and bringing relief to them is my calling.
I typically work in a gentle manner, although I do find it’s necessary to have courage in what we say.
I believe in working collaboratively with clients, both individual and couples, and that is where I have seen clients gain the most forward movement, I believe that this is empowering for clients.
I also tend to work on the underlying issues with clients, both individual and couples, and I have seen deep healing facilitate when we are able to do this work, together.
I do believe, both personally and professionally, that life is a journey, and I would be happy to walk the path with you, should you decide to take that step.
I look forward to hearing from you,
